My usual newborn shoot is indoors. It just makes so much sense. New babies sleep and need to be changed and need to be fed at odd intervals and a warm environment is ideal. And so it was with sweet little William. The sunny bedroom was wonderful for bright light images. And William was the perfect sleepy newborn.
As for capturing two year olds though, bedrooms don’t cut it for very long at all haha. Thankfully, following Charlotte both inside and outside outside was easy on her grandparents’ beautiful property. And follow her I did. To the piano in the atrium, to the rope ladder at the tree outside, and up and down the driveway. Amber and Josh, doting and patient parents that they are were unfazed by it all, basking in the joy of the new addition to their sweet family.
Amber had smiled and said, I am not going anywhere, when I was apologetic about how many photos I was taking. She had made the decision in the morning to come to her parents home due to the bridge to their place going under water. And from the time I met Amber, I was impressed by her calmness and her ability to keep smiling. Congratulations on your handsome baby boy and becoming a family of four, Amber and Josh!
